Hello Dear Ones,
With the abundance and colour of warm wet summer all around us, I revel in the colours of the plants and flowers, which grace us with such profusion.
I have just come back from a Full Moon Colour Activation retreat in Mount Shasta California and am filled with wonderful new ways to bring more living colour into my practice. Enjoy the colours of summer while they are with us. All of nature is a miracle!

Mount Shasta is a miracle with its meadows abundant with tiny flowers in a myriad of brilliant colours. This is surely the magical meadow I have visited in my lucid dreams on many occasions.  At each portal we were greeted with a brilliant profusion of orange butterflies slowing down our accent so that we would breathe and assimilate the energy before continuing our climb. All of nature calls to you to tell you this is a sacred place and as you sit in silence you know the Devas, Masters and Ancients are with you.

August will take me to Picton County to do a “Soundwork as Soulwork” course with Sound healer and musician Gary Diggins. Afterward I will be off to the Eastern Townships of Quebec to explore crystal mines and relax in the beauty of this special area in Canada.
There will be no classes or workshops in August.

Soul Connection Sacred Journeys As well as our annual sacred journey to Hawaii , we have added another Sacred Journey. This journey will take us to Sedona Arizona November 6 to 12, 2008.  November is a powerful time to be in Sedona, particularly November 11, when there will be an 11/11 portal opening. We will be doing a sacred ceremony on that day to assist in grounding the powerful energies which will be coming in at that time.

Soul Connection’s  Meditation for Joyful Living series will begin Sept. 8/08 The class will be held every Monday evening offering you a peaceful and restorative way to begin your week.

“Deepening into Sound”
Sept. 16 to18 Tues, Wed, and Thurs from 7:00pm. to 9:30 pm.
 

In September Barbara will be offering an opportunity to delve deeper into sound work as a healing modality. Participants will meet over three evenings. We will be working with the many facets of sound for healing and transformation. This workshop is designed to introduce Healers to the basic premise of Sound Healing.
• Learn how to access your own sacred sound and transmit this energy with your voice to create an effective healing response.
• Learn about the Crystal Bowls and the subtleties of sounding them properly.
• We will cover the use of tuning forks, Tibetan metal bowls, gongs, bells and chimes.
• Practice time for giving and receiving sound healing sessions.
• Further training will be offered to anyone who is interested in continuing towards receiving a certificate in Sound Healing.
 Barbara McKell is a certified Sound Healer and registered member of the Healing Music Organization, The Canadian Sound Practitioners Association and SHA Sound Healers Association founded by Jonathan Goldman. She teaches Transformation Sound Therapy and offers Crystal Bowl, Sound Healing performances across Canada.

Ear Candling Training with Tracy Young 
Oct. 18 from 10:00 am. to 4:00 pm.

Learn the ancient art of maintaining ear health with ear candling and facial massage. Tracy Young has many years of experienced as an Ear Candling Practitioner.  In this one day training class, Tracy will teach students how to prepare the client with gentle facial and neck massage. Complete instruction will be given on how to select and use ear candles properly. Student will be supervised as they both give and receive an ear candling session. A manual and course materials are included. A certificate of completion is given upon successful completion of training.

Crystal Healing Certification

Learn how to use the wisdom of the mineral kingdom in your healing practice.
The Crystal Healing course has recently been updated to a two day intensive training. This workshop is designed to offer the practitioner practical experience and extensive exploration of the healing properties of crystals and stones. You will learn to respect the power and magic available to us through the mineral kingdom. Participants must complete the required practicum and exam before receiving their Crystal Healing Certificate.
