“Discovering Mandala Art through Sacred Geometry” with Visionary Artist Barbara McKell
A One Day experiential workshop
Date: May 7, 2017
Location: Durham Ontario
Cost: $150.00
The workshop will begin at 10:00 am and go to 4:30 pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
This class is for everyone, beginners and the experienced are all welcome. To enjoy the full experience it is best if we all come with a beginners mind. Barbara’s approach is very accessible and intuitive. Barbara will introduce you to Sacred Geometry and offer practical ways to use it to map out your personal mandala. All the materials will be supplied, but you are welcome to bring any of your own materials if you like. We will be working on paper with pencil, ruler and compass to begin with. As our designs progress we will work with coloured pencils, coloured markers or watercolour pencils. The cost of the workshop is $150 and includes your materials as well as snacks and tea. Please bring your own lunch.

A 2 day experiential workshop
Date: Saturday and Sunday June 3 and 4, 2017
Location: Eramosa Eden Retreat Center, Rockwood Ontario
Cost: $375.00
The workshop will begin at 9:00 am each day and go to 4:30 pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
This class is for everyone, beginners and the experienced are all welcome. To enjoy the full experience it is best if we all come with a beginners mind. Barbara’s approach is very accessible and intuitive. Barbara will introduce you to Sacred Geometry and offer practical ways to use it to map out your personal mandala. All the materials will be supplied, but you are welcome to bring any of your own materials if you like. you will have the opportunity to complete at least two unique pieces of your own personal artwork. We will be working on paper with pencil, ruler and compass to begin with. If you have a compass, (a quality drafting compass not a directional compass, that is) and straight edge metal ruler that would be helpful, but not necessary. As our designs progress we will work with coloured pencils, coloured markers or watercolour pencils. Thoae who feel comfortable will also have to work with acrylic paint on a large or small canvas. The cost of the workshop is $375 and includes your materials as well as snacks and tea. Please bring your own lunch.

This workshop will be held in the beautiful natural setting of Eramosa Eden on the banks of the Eramosa River just 15 minutes outside of Guelph. if you are coming from out of town you are welcome to stay overnight. Accomodation is sleepover style so bring your sleeping bag or bedding.
